We are a Christian youth theater ministry focusing on kids ages 12-18 years old. We aim to develop Christ-like character on and off stage.
Currently, we produce two musicals a year (October & March) and two summer camps (June).
Our musicals are designed for tweens and teens ages 12-18.
Generally, auditions for the fall musical are in August. Auditions for the "spring" musical are in December.

Rehearsals are Fridays from 6-9pm and Saturdays from 9:30-2pm.
In addition to Friday nights and Saturdays, we have additional rehearsals the week of performances. The first week of performances we have rehearsals Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 5:30-8:30. (Then performances Thursday-Saturday.) The second week of performances we have rehearsals on Wednesday and Thursday from 5:30-8:30 (with performances Friday-Saturday).
On occasion, if it works with schedules, we may ask primary story tellers, to come early, stay late or come for an additional rehearsal.

Yes. We generally allow 4 absences. However, absences may affect which part you get. If absences become a problem you may lose your part or be cut from the show.
THERE ARE NO ABSENCES ALLOWED FOR TECH WEEKS OR PERFORMANCES.
We have 7 performances, over two weekends. Performances are Thursday (7pm), Friday (7pm) and Saturday (2pm & 7pm) the first weekend. On the second weekend, performances are Friday (7pm) and Saturday (2pm and 7pm).

Yes, we do have cuts. Auditioning does not guarantee you a spot in the cast.

That includes scripts, music, show shirt, costumes, set build, props, tech, etc.
If payment is difficult for you, please contact us so we can work something out.
No, but we really appreciate any help parents can give especially during show weeks.
Maybe. We generally like adults age 18+ to help with stage crew and tech. Younger kids may be considered on an individual basis. Please reach out to kathisell@redbarnpro.org for more information.
We ask for an $8 per seat donation at the door on the day of performance.
Seat reservations open on the website one month before each opening night.
